MATERIALS / 03

A practical guide

Start with the material.

Use these categories to describe your enquiry. They are not a final acceptance list: the material, condition, quantity and local handling options all matter.

01
FIBRE

Cardboard and paper

Packaging, cartons and paper-based material. Let us know whether it is loose, flattened, baled, wet or mixed with other items.

Keep dry and separate where practical.
02
CONTAINERS

Plastic materials

Describe the type of plastic items, approximate quantity and whether containers are empty or still contain residue.

Acceptance can vary by type and condition.
03
METAL

Metal and cans

Tell us what kind of metal is involved, its form and approximate weight or volume. Do not include pressurized or unknown containers without prior confirmation.

Describe any sharp edges or special handling needs.
04
MIXED STREAM

Combined materials

When materials are mixed, list what is included and how much separation has already been done. A clear description is more useful than a guess.

Mention contamination or items that do not belong.
Not sure what you have?

Select “Other / not sure yet” in the enquiry form and explain what you can. We can ask follow-up questions before confirming acceptance.
